ABOUT


Mr. Chris Wadibia hails from all across America. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, and raised in Alabama and California, he is the son of a Nigerian immigrant to the United States seeking the American Dream and to attain a better life for his family. Upon graduating from Mobile, Alabama's Faith Academy, he was awarded a scholarship to attend Georgetown University. At Georgetown, Chris studied politics and religion; an academic trope that sparked his passion for the confluence of inter-religious engagement and public policy. While at Georgetown, Chris avidly served in many functions, including: Lecture Fund, Campus Ministry, the African Society of Georgetown, Healey Family Student Center, and the Academic Resource Center, to note a few. Entering his senior year, he was selected as one of five students to serve on Georgetown's Working Group on Slavery, Memory, and Reconciliation, which helped the University community reconcile with its historic ties to slavery. Chris was then awarded a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship to research the nature of Muslim-Christian relations in Nigeria.
