Javier Argüello

Javier was born in Quito, Ecuador, where he lived the first eight years of his life before emigrating to the United States in 2001. Along with his mother, Javier, then aged eight, recognized the value of an education and seized the urge to make a better life for both him and his family. After graduating third in his class from Ansonia High School, located in Ansonia, Connecticut, he left for Georgetown University with what basically amounted to a full scholarship; he attained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Georgetown's Robert E. McDonough School of Business in 2016. Javier worked at two of the top five global investment banks while he was a student. He was the recipient of the 2012 Goldman Sachs Scholarship for Excellence and is an alumnus of the 2013 Sponsors for Education Opportunity (SEO) Investment Banking Class, through which he was placed at JP Morgan. During his membership at SEO, Javier was selected to attend two intimate breakfasts as a result of his performance , one with private equity titan Henry R. Kravis of KKR and the other with private equity titan David M. Rubenstein of The Carlyle Group.
